Installing a home theater system is the same with navigating a huge tangled mess of wires. This is the part of the setting up which is nothing enjoyable. Playing with settings is a noise, but running those wires is a pain. Now there is a newer fraction to the home theater family which cuts down on some of this. Wireless home theater speakers. These are not actually meant to replace all of those wires. However, they are meant to replace the wires that run from the back of the receiver to the back speakers of your system. This in turn not only removes the need to run 2 more wires, but also eliminates the drilling of holes and a lovely trip to the attic. Having them wireless gives them more of a plug and play ability. At least for the back speakers. The technology is not exactly new, but it is certainly getting better.
